Question regarding German citizenship laws?

No, you can not get a German citizenship via your ancestry. The only possibility to get one through grandparents is if they had German citizenship and had to give it up due to Nazi persecution. So those that are decendants of victims of Nazi Germany (you would need Jewish grandparents for example) and are able to proof it, can get the citizenship back that was "stolen" their ancestors. But this is not your case. you can only immigrate to Germany through a job and then after living in working in Germany for at least seven years apply for citizenship - or you marry a German and can apply for the passport after 3 years of marriage.
