If I get my period after a miscarriage does this mean I am not infected?

There is no way I could get to a doctor right now. And I just had what I believe is a miscarriage. I had absolutely no pain or a lot of bleeding or vomiting, BUT i had VERY little clots and one gum piece size grey tissue clot. So I'm pretty sure it was a miscarriage. So i know I KNOW getting to a dr is important but I can't. So I am a little worried about getting an infection, and I was wondering, if I get my period, does that mean I am not infected?
