Help with Xbox 360 Modern Warfare 2 Problem?

This same incident happened to me with Gears of War 2. To get your map packs back you can go to your downloads history and download again, however when I had the problem with playing it there was nothing that I could do to play Gears 2 again, so I believe that there is nothing you can do. =/. I recommend purchasing call of duty: Black Ops or waiting for MW# to come out on 11.8.11.
